The Haunting/The Others Double Feature!

Just a reminder that tomorrow we'll be screening our two chilling haunted house films for your delectation: Robert Wise's The Haunting and the 2001 supernatural Gothic thriller The Others. We hope to see you there!

Hauntings and Horrors

This week, we will be showing Robert Wise's infamous "The Haunting (1963), starring Claire Bloom and Julie Harris and, according to Steven Spielberg, "the scariest film ever made." After that, we'll screen the 2001 haunted house film "The Others," starring Nicole Kidman and Christopher Eccleston and lauded by The Washington Post as "a tantalizing spine-tingler." Come and be afraid!

Psycho Killer Double Feature!

This week we will be showing two films guaranteed to curdle your blood and set your teeth on edge: Takashi Miike's harrowing Audition (1999) and the 2000 film adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis's infamous classic American Psycho, starring Christian Bale and Reese Witherspoon. Learn creative new uses for piano wire! See the inspiring effects of Huey Lewis and the News! See Batman when he was Patrick Bateman (sorry, I couldn't resist)!

Cronenberg Double Feature!

This week, we'll be showing two movies by Canadian horror auteur, David Cronenberg: Videodrome (1983) and The Fly (1986). Enter a world of adult channels that cause brain tumors, grotesque mutations brought about by a negligent use of teleportation devices, and much, much more! Be afraid, be very afraid.

Pizza and soft drinks will be served. March 8th, 6-10 PM, Lewis Library Bowl Classroom 138.

February 22nd Screening

All right, folks, our rescheduled screening of Audition and My Bloody Valentine will take place this Friday, February 22nd, from 6PM-10PM. Pizza and soft drinks will be served. Also, note the changed location: Lewis Library Bowl Classroom 120. Hope to see you there!
